Gender not mandatory

Title: Gender not mandatory when registering an account

Description: In some countries it is not normal to ask for gender when registering an account, it is almost seen as offensive, i.e. an invasion of privacy. We should not ask for this information as mandatory, or if we do there should be an option of "This is private" or something like this.
